Spa Policies
The following spa guidelines are to ensure that you get the most out of your spa experience. Should you have any questions, please let us know
Spa Etiquette – To ensure that guests can enjoy the peaceful environment of Cottage Breeze Day Spa & Boutique, we respectfully request that all visitors keep noise to a minimum. Cellular phones and electronic devices are discouraged. For the protection and safety of your child and to ensure a pleasant visit for all of our clients, children are not permitted in the spa services area. Smoking within the spa is prohibited.
Pets/Animals – Due to guest allergies and health requirements, we are unable to accommodate any pets or animals in the spa. Should you have any questions about this policy prior to your visit, please let us know.
Reservations – Advanced booking prior to your arrival is recommended. Should you use our on-line booking service, please make sure you get an email confirmation as soon as you book. If not, please call the spa immediately.
Please note that if you book online, the spa reserves the right to change your originally scheduled time by 30 minutes. We will notify you right away if we need to make a slight adjustment to your start time.
Spa Arrival – We strive to ensure that all of our clients are seen at their scheduled time, so please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your first appointment so that you can complete the client intake form. If your arrival is late, your service may need to be shortened or adjusted to accommodate our schedule and other guests.
Cancellation – A 24 hour cancellation notice is required for all appointments or you will be billed for the service in full.
Special Consideration – Please advise us of any medical condition, injury or change in health status prior to your treatment. We strive to provide you with the best attention possible and want to be sure that our treatments do not interfere with any issues you may be experiencing.
What to wear – For any treatment (with the exception of Thai Massage), no special clothing is necessary. For facials, we will provide you with a wrap to wear. If you are having multiple treatments, a robe, basket and slippers will be provided. Our therapists are well versed in proper draping techniques to ensure your privacy and comfort.
Gratuities – Prices listed do not include gratuities. Gratuities are at the discretion of the guest and can be put on a credit card. Gratuities for our staff for a quality service are typically 15-20%.
Gift cards and certificates – They are available in any denomination or for a specific service or package. They are not redeemable for cash and can be used only for products and services. Unused value will remain on the card. The spa is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. In addition, we accept both Spafinder and Spa Week Gift cards. Please present your gift card upon arrival
Payment – We gladly accept Cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. You may use a credit card for gratuity. Prices are subject to change without notice.
